Who regulates us
We're proud to work with a number of external regulators which inspect and regulate services in England.
Our regulators
Regulators are state-run bodies which aim to ensure that people using public services get the high quality help they need in a safe and supportive environment.
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Waythrough is a registered provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
A number of our inspected services are rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC including County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service, Forward Leeds, Calderdale Recovery Steps, and North Yorkshire Horizons. We are hugely proud of this, given fewer than 2% of inspected services in England receive this top overall rating.
Many of our services are rated ‘Good’ by the CQC including Foxlands House, Haringey Alcohol Service, Holder House, Recovery Steps Cumbria and Longview House.
We are working every day to develop and improve all of our services in line with CQC and wider guidance.
