We’re here to support Haringey residents make positive changes in their alcohol use recovery journey. Let’s take this step together towards a healthier future. 

We’re here to help

Is the service confidential?

Yes, all services delivered by HAGA are completely confidential. You can even ask to be seen in one of our satellite clinics, a GP surgery or in our community hubs. Please speak to your keyworker if you would like to hear more on this. 

What if I don’t speak English?

Our staff team speak over 10 languages however if we don’t speak your language we can arrange for confidential translators in the language of your choice. 

Can I bring a friend or family member?

We encourage those who access our service to include family members and friends in their care. If you would like to bring a family member, carer, or friend for support you are more than welcome to. 

What should I do if I am worried about someone?

Please call us so we can discuss how you might want to speak to them. Our colleagues at Insight Haringey, friends, families, and the careers service can also provide specialist support. Additionally, this service offers one-to-one and group support, providing practical approaches to assist you. 

What if I know someone affected by substance or alcohol use who is under 18 years of age?

Insight Platform can help. This service is also based in Haringey and offers specialised support for children and young people. Insight Platform also provides education on drug awareness and available support to local schools in Haringey. Call or email us (phone: 020 8493 8525; email: insightplatform@humankindcharity.org.uk) and we can take a referral. 

What if I can’t attend between 9am-5pm?

That is ok, please let us know on your referral or when you speak with us, and we can arrange an appointment for you outside of these hours.

Can I bring a pet?

While we would love to meet your pet, unfortunately, we cannot have them on our premises. If this would make it difficult for you to attend HAGA let us know and we can find a solution.
