Support with employment and training
We’re here to support with training and employment
Employment and training support we offer
Most people have difficulties finding or keeping hold of a job at some point in their life. Many of our employment services can help you build the confidence and skills you need to stay in your current job or to find a new one.
Many of our mental health and drug and alcohol support services also have teams of employment experts working in them, because we know life can throw different challenges at you at once.
Often they work with an approach called individual placement and support (IPS). Our IPS experts aim to help you find and choose the right job in just a few weeks and continue supporting you alongside your new employer after you get the job.
We believe your work should give you meaning and purpose as well as paying the bills, and we’ll work with you to find the right sector and role based on your strengths and ambitions.
Getting support from us
When you find an employment and training support service, you can talk to them confidentially on the phone or by email to get advice. We can provide a referral form to get you started.
If Waythrough is working with you on your drug or alcohol use then ask whoever is supporting you about job and volunteering opportunities.
We’ll talk about what’s going on for you now and cover options for finding a way forward.
