Waythrough works in partnership with Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Trust and Changing Lives to deliver an all-age treatment and recovery system across Newcastle upon Tyne. Working from a Newcastle city centre base and a dedicated standalone harm reduction service, Newcastle Treatment and Recovery offers evidence-based individual care to residents across the city.

The service works closely with a wide range of stakeholders and partners across all elements of drug and alcohol recovery including criminal justice, children and young adults and shared care. Rapid access to support is provided through a single point of contact, signposting service users to the most appropriate part of the service to meet their individual needs.
