Supporting Enfield residents on their drug and alcohol recovery journey. Our compassionate team offers medication, key working sessions, group sessions, complementary therapies and referrals to other services, helping you achieve your recovery goals.
Our Service
We provide specialist treatment to anybody over the age of 18 living in Enfield who is worried about their alcohol or drug use.
We’re here to help
The team will help you to:
- Outline a care plan with the goals you want to achieve in your recovery journey
- Access other services that can help, including GPs, training, counselling, peer support groups and residential rehab
- Make healthier life choices
We can also help friends and family who are concerned about a loved one.
Here at Enable, we value our service user voices and work to improve access to drug and alcohol services by working with our peer mentors and those with lived experience.
What can you expect?
You will have someone to talk to about your drug or alcohol problem.
We provide:
- Telephone or face-to-face appointments with a skilled worker to support you to access the right service
- Regular individual sessions to support you in your decision making around your substance use
- A team of experienced therapists who will provide psychological treatment and counselling support
We will help to reduce or stop your drug and alcohol use by:
- Substitute prescribing and community detoxification for opiate users
- Community alcohol detoxification
- Giving you access to a range of group programmes and workshops to help you make positive changes in your life
- Providing access to funded treatment for detox, residential rehab or structured day programme
We can help to improve your health with:
- Our nursing team who can provide health and wellbeing sessions
- Testing and vaccination for blood borne viruses
- Workshops and activities to improve your health and wellbeing
- Complementary therapies
We can help to improve your relationships by providing:
- Support for carers, friends and family
- A specialist team who can support you around parenting and the impact your substance misuse may be having on your children
- Support for people experiencing domestic violence
We can help you to build support networks through:
- Access to education and training opportunities
- Support with benefits, housing and welfare
- Volunteering and peer mentoring programs
