East Cheshire North Supported Housing (Princess Court)

Princess Court is a 24 Hour Supported House based in Middlewich, with seven individual self-contained flats.
Princess Court does have sleep in cover where you can access support 8am-10pm, however if you are in a crisis, you will be able to request and receive support outside of these hours. We offer support, aim to identify and meet your diverse needs to help you on your personalised recovery journey.
You will be assigned a designated key worker however all staff members will be available to offer you support. You will be required to meet with your support worker once a week to have a key working session. During your initial support session, you will be encouraged and supported to develop your own person-centered support plan using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timed) goals. Subsequent sessions will be used to work towards these.
Support includes:
- Provide a person-centered holistic recovery focused approach.
- Support to sign up for a Plus Dane tenancy within the building.
- Support to set up utility bills, gas, water, electric, tv and council tax.
- Maximise benefits, apply for any eligible exemptions, discounts or grants.
- Support to identify, apply and attend any course to enhance basic skills needs, employment, wellbeing needs.
- Support to build positive relationships and reconnect at service level within the community and where requested and appropriate family and friends.
- Support to identify, apply and attend employment opportunities paid or voluntary.
- Support to maximise health and wellbeing, book and attend any appointments such as; GP, dentist, CMHT, order, store and oversee medication.
- Organise and facilitate activities such as walking groups, cinema groups, activity days, service user meals.
- Support to register for local housing authority/private property owners and actively bid whilst gaining the skills to live independently.
Who is this service for
- People aged 18 or over
- People with a local connection to Cheshire East area
- People who are subject to section 117 of the Mental Health Act and/or subject to MAPPA and Individuals whose level of risk can be managed safely in a social care environment.
