Our Service

We work with individuals to set their own person-centered goals to work towards their vision of independence. Goals are set with the person’s time limits, confidence and personal recovery in mind, and they are co-produced with staff at every step of the way.

We’re here to help

At Adelphi Court, we support people aged 18 or over who require support with their mental health and a supported living environment to maintain a tenancy. We provide person-centered goals and approaches for the person to help them manage their accommodation and assist with reintegration back into independent living and the wider community.

Barrow Community supports people aged 16 or over within their own homes to continue their independence, promote skills and build confidence.

Adelphi Court is a block of 12 flats used as a mental health supported living service. We have 11 flats which are single occupancy assured shorthold tenancy and are fully furnished, while one flat is used as an office based on site. The length of stay is usually between 6 months and 2 years, depending on the person’s needs. People generally need at least 12 hours of support per week.

We support people to gain or regain skills around their daily living, personal care, cooking, shopping, budgeting, cleaning, relationships, social inclusion, responsibilities and maintaining a tenancy.

Who is this service for

  • People aged 18 or over (Adelphi Court supported accommodation)
  • People aged 16 or over (Barrow Community support)
  • People with a primary diagnosis of mental health
