Having a safe place to live is important for your health, happiness and overall wellbeing. At Fresh Start we are here to help you figure things out. We offer free, personalised advice and support with housing and your health and wellbeing needs.

We can support you to….

Find and set up a new home

  • Help to find a new home
  • Complete application forms
  • Understand your tenancy agreement
  • Connect gas, electricity and water
  • Access grants to set up and furnish your home

Develop skills to manage your home

  • Practical skills to manage your home
  • Money management including claiming benefits you are entitled to and reducing debts

Tackle issues which may be affecting your tenancy

  • Address rent arrears
  • Deal with issues, disputes and harassment
  • Arrange home repairs

Improve your Health & Wellbeing

  • Access specialist services to manage your physical and mental health or manage your substance use
  • Access services to improve your overall wellbeing

Make the most of you time

  • Develop your social networks and access the leisure, cultural and faith groups that interest you
  • Achieve your goals around volunteering, education, training and employment

How we can help…
We can offer one-off support through a telephone call, one of our local drop-ins or a virtual on-line support session.

If there are a number of areas you would like support with, our team will work with you to develop an action plan and support you to achieve your goals through regular home visits and practical support for up to 26 weeks.
