Winston House
Winston House is a 24-hour residential service, registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission. We work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support to adults with complex needs or forensic histories.
We’re here to help
We support people with their recovery using a holistic, co-produced, person-centred approach to achieve improved levels of wellbeing, safety and independence. This is achieved through 1-2-1 work, group work and other therapeutic approaches.
We support people, typically leaving a psychiatric hospital, prison or secure hospital setting, through their recovery journey. The length of stay for people we support is in the region of 18 months to 3 years (although in some cases the complex profile and/or risk profile of people who are referred to the service means that their recovery journey can be longer).
The service, where relevant, work with external stakeholders as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure that discharge conditions and legal conditions are monitored, supervised and met e.g. MAPPA arrangements, Section 37/41, Community Treatment Orders, Community Orders (probation).
