Our Service

NY Rise is a young person’s drug and alcohol recovery serviceNY RISE delivers targeted prevention/early intervention and specialist substance misuse support to young people, preventing escalation of drug/alcohol-related risk/harm and young people from becoming dependent adults.

We’re here to help

NY RISE is free, friendly and confidential.  

We can help with:  

  • Structured support to stop or reduce drug or alcohol use  
  • Support to improve your health and wellbeing (including sexual health support and smoking cessation)  
  • Education and advice about drugs and alcohol  
  • Support family members of young people working with NY Rise and offer onward referrals when needed  

We can also provide guidance to schools, colleges and other professionals regarding referral processes and eligibility  

We are an outreach-based service, we see young people in their communities at a place which is comfortable for them

  • Young people aged 10-25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
  • People who need support with their own or someone else's drug and/or alcohol use
