London Liaison and Diversion Service

The Community Liaison and Diversion (L&D) service is designed to support individuals 18+ with vulnerabilities who are in contact with the Criminal Justice System in London. The team will provide support to address a range of needs including mental health issues, neurodiverse conditions, substance use, employment and psychosocial challenges.

We deliver high quality care, close to home all connected and embedded in the local community.  

We’re here to help

Our team consists of community link workers, who are assisted to engage with people by peer mentors and other lived experience volunteers.  

We help people access vital services, improve their health and wellbeing and reduce the risk of re-offending. Working hand in hand with our community partners including the police, probation services, the courts, and local health teams, we make sure people get the right support at the right time.  

We can help with 

  • Support in custody and in the courts 
  • Linking people to the services they need 
  • Signposting and support to access other services 
  • Support to improve health and wellbeing 
  • Registering with a GP 
  • Support to attend appointments
