East Cheshire Floating Individual Budget
If you are living in Cheshire and surrounding areas, we can support you on your mental health recovery journey.
We’re here to help
When you have been accepted into our service, you will be designated a key recovery worker. You will be required to meet with your key worker once a week (or however many appointments you have been allocated) to have a key working session. These sessions will allow you to discuss anything you wish to discuss or raise any issues you may have. During your initial support session, you will be supported and encouraged to develop your own person-centered support plan, Using SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timed) goals. Future support sessions will be used to work towards these goals.
We can support you with:
- Planning, purchasing and preparing meals. Support with budgeting and writing weekly planner
- Mental and physical health appointments
- Maximising benefits, budget, and addressing any debts
- Basic life skills, keeping your home clean and tidy. Staff will initially support with these tasks with a goal being that you will be able to complete these in the future with no/minimal support
- Addressing self-esteem, encouraging you to access the interventions available and meet new people/friends
- Volunteering, college, Recovery College, and social activities to reduce isolation
Our staff will build up a good positive, therapeutic working relationship which will then help you build trust. Staff will work jointly with you to identify the best way to communicate. Support with completing a WRAP book will be given, and staff will ensure that they understand any conversations had. We encourage tenants to write their own case notes, support plans, and risk assessment reviews with staff support to which they can have a copy if they wish. Interventions are tailored to the individual around personal areas identified.
