East Surrey Wellbeing Matters
If you’re a parent with young children living in East Surrey and you feel like you need support, we can help. Your wellbeing matters to us.
We’re here to help
We understand that asking for help can be hard, so the Wellbeing Matters team bases themselves in a variety of locations within the community, ready to bring support directly to you.
We’ll work with you to explore your individual needs, using a simple wellbeing assessment to look at areas where you feel you would benefit from further support. We can connect you with other services we work closely with in our community to help meet these needs, whether that’s to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, building your resilience or connecting you with people who understand.
Who is this service for
- People aged 16 or over who are a parent or carer of a young child or children

I'm a changed person now all because of Wellbeing Matters.
Please don't be worried. Before I had support from Wellbeing Matters, I was at a lost end. I didn't know which way to turn. But since going through with it, they've just helped me so much. It's taken all the weight off my shoulder and I've got no worries because they've just helped me with everything I couldn't do. It's just fantastic. I really couldn't recommend it more.

It's a privilege to look after such an important service, and to know that we are able to support parents when they often feel they have nowhere else to turn.
Wellbeing Matters offers a non-judgemental, safe space for parents. I want to assure all parents out there that it is okay to ask for help.

I am passionate about breaking down barriers to supporting parents, especially those effected by neurodiversity, domestic violence and substance use.
I have personally experienced how hard it is to ask for help and/or find the right help. That’s why I am committed to using my experience, knowledge and empathy to help others see its ok not to be ok.

Parenting can be an intensely rewarding experience but can also bring about its own difficulties. Wellbeing Matters recognises that so many of us struggle and that accessing support can feel daunting. In my role, I have had the privilege to listen, support and empower parents on their parenting journey.
I am passionate about bringing the difficult experiences of parenthood out of the shadows, providing a safe space to share, and to recognise that you are not alone.

As administrator for Wellbeing Matters, I feel privileged to be able to work as part of a team to support parents with their wellbeing.
Parenting, whilst rewarding, is an incredibly difficult job, and I’m excited to be part of a service helping to give much needed support back to parents to help them feel their best on that journey.
